General OFM networking, lounges, and discussion

Community groups are the wider OFM social layer — not purely transactional, not purely hiring. OFM Maniacs, OFM The Hub, Whales Club, and regional OFM community chats all fit here. They're where operators, creators, and vendors bump into each other casually; where industry drama unfolds; and where the softer knowledge (tool recommendations, team-building, culture, wellbeing in the industry) gets exchanged.

The vibe is closer to a professional forum than a sales channel. Expect threads like 'what do you do when your top chatter burns out?', 'first-time hitting $100k MRR, what do I optimise next?', 'running an agency with my partner — AMA', and honest discussions of the emotional weight of managing creators or being one.

If you're new to the industry and don't know where to start, community groups are where you should lurk first. You'll absorb the vocabulary, meet the recurring figures, and develop an instinct for who to trust before you start spending money in the marketplaces or hiring boards. Most of the meaningful OFM relationships we've observed started in one of these rooms.

The trade-off: lower signal on the pure 'how do I make money' axis. If you want to directly buy, sell, or hire, the community groups are slower than marketplace or jobs groups. If you want to understand the industry holistically, start here.
