Courses, academies, mentorships, and training

Education groups orbit the many OFM courses, academies, and mentorship programs in the industry. Some are official vendor support channels (for a paid course), some are open general-education discussion rooms, and some are free-information communities built to counterbalance the paywalled course market. OFM Empire VIP [JOIN] and a handful of regional academies are the larger examples.

Discussion covers the course ecosystem honestly: which courses are fairly priced for what you actually learn, which are rebranded Discord servers being sold at $2k/year, and which mentors have real agency track records versus those who just teach. Threads routinely compare course content, discuss why a particular mentor's students do well or don't, and surface refund policies and support quality.

For newcomers, the value is that you can usually figure out whether to buy a specific course by lurking in its supporting education group for a week. If the current students are asking basic questions the course supposedly teaches, that's a signal. If they're sharing real revenue screenshots and complex questions, that's the opposite signal.

Be aware that some education groups are thinly disguised sales funnels for a single course. Cross-check claims against the jobs, agency, or community groups where the same operators are often active under the same handles. The industry is small enough that reputations are verifiable.
